Position Description

Zapata Computing, Inc. seeks an outstanding marketer, equal parts creative and execution-oriented, to help get our brand and message into the world. Your role will be to lead and support marketing efforts across channels (video, digital marketing, PR, thought leadership content, events). A typical day may be spent updating our website, co-developing new materials for a new partnership, meeting with our digital agency, and scripting a new thought leadership video. You will report to our highly collaborative CMO, work closely with the BD team and agency partners, and also have exposure to the executive team, scientists, and developers.

 Key responsibilities include

  • Manage the development and implementation of key marketing assets across channels such as video, articles, blog posts, collateral, press releases, social media content, etc.
  • Maintain Zapata’s web presence including website and social media accounts based on strategies co-developed with leadership and agency partners.
  • Create marketing assets based on existing templates and style guides; oversee and work with agency partners to build new marketing assets and programs.
  • As in any start-up, flexibility to adapt to challenges and opportunities and to jump in where needed.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • 3 years of relevant marketing experience with a demonstrated track record of creating and executing on marketing ideas (alone and in a team) that build brand and perform well.
  • Fluency in modern digital marketing strategy and tactics; relevant experience in B2B and/or emerging tech.
  • Excellent project management and attention to detail with excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Appreciation for great design.
  • Passion and curiosity for edge technologies.
  • Familiarity with programs and tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop InDesign).
